I want to know that Form no. 1(ESIC), 2(PF) & 11(PF declaration form) for employees is mandatory to submit in local PF office?
Because now a days employers are doing online registration of new employees & all the processes are shifted from manual to online so that I want that is this forms are compulsory to submit in Local PF / ESIC office.

Eventhough systems are getting online, there is no intimation or instruction from neither PF not ESIC for non submission of any of the above mentioned forms. To avoid any problem in future it is suggested to keep submitting all those form on time to the respective authorities till the time no intimation comes from them.

Please note ESI Form # 1-online Temporary ID Card (The question of Submitting to ESI does not arise)
Please note EPF Form # 11 (New) Declaration Form to be obtained from all Employees Joining an Establishment.Duly Completed & Signed Form 11 to be retained by the Employer for the sake of record.
EPF Form No 2-Nomination Form-Consequent to introduction of Online from March-2012, not necessary to obtain the same.Even if you obtain, File in personal File for future reference
