When an employee joins, it takes some time to collect all documents like bank account proof and KYC in the required format. This delay can result in the date on the documents differing from the date of joining indicated on the joining form. My question is, can the joining date and the date on Form-11 be different?

Form 11 is a document to declare whether the employee is already a member of PF or not. It has nothing to do with the date of joining. Normally, all forms will bear a date on which they are prepared or signed. In Form 11, there is no relevance to the date of signing the form, but what is important are the contents like the previous UAN, date of exit from the previous PF, etc.

All statutory forms and identity proofs are collected at the time of joining itself. But a delay of a few days will not cause any issues.
