Greetings of the day,
This is the third time i m posting my question to my seniors.
I am working the leather chemicals manufacturing company in kanpur.I want to prepare mis format for reporting on daily basis to directors.
I want to report daily regarding followings
raw material inward (there are 300 items)
raw material issued to particular prodution division (as per production chart, three are 4-5 different division)
raw material received back from prodution division
total raw material issued to production unit
total finished goods received to checking /packing department from manufacturing unit
total finished goods packed
total finished goods dispatched to distributor
i want everything on one excel sheet where there should have automatic calculation of raw material stock as per item like i will insert opening stock plus inward less issue
than finished goods received from production unit (model wise/colour wise)
less totla dispatched finished goods.

Dear priya
do you have the ERP system installed in your organisation
if it is installed you may ask your service provider to command an mail trigger into the erp of your following request which will automatically mail to every body which you wanted to do.
if not installed pl install one and do it
because for putting this first you have to collect data from all you departments and prepare MIS
even this is posible with little spending of time in your factory
the steps involved ar
1. first prepare an overall consilidate dsheet which you wanted to have as a front page to show to your heads
2. in the item list of consolidated sheet find how many items you have to show and add that many pages into excel work book
3. rename the worksheets into the item listed in consolidated sheet
4. prepare the format and formula in each sheet
5. share the document to the departments you wanted and aks them to enter the data
6. put the formula on the consolidated sheet with hyperlinks to other worksheet in document
7. get hte report generated on daily and send mail to heads
hope this will give you an outside awareness of how this is difficult to implement with just only one excel sheet
try to do with your organisation formula and keep it up, other might follow a different formula which your organisation might not get co inside
