Hello, guys. I am working as an HR professional in a paper manufacturing company. Actually, I am in a dilemma. We have a library in our organization, but no one visits there, so this has become an issue for me now. I wanted to change this room into an activity room. It can consist of puzzle games, Sudoku, or chess kind of games. If you can help me by suggesting more games or activities for an individual, it will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks & Regards,
Mili

Hey friends,
I'm working as an HR executive in a manufacturing unit in Maharashtra. It's been a year here, but still hard to find any changes in this organization from the last 20 years as it used to be here. I'm looking for a change, but it's really hard to find something better because I want to utilize my skills and work in a professional environment, mainly in training and development. I need suggestions on how to start and where I can begin my search.
And thanks, Nikhil sir, for sharing your knowledge with us.

You can place carrom board, dart boards. If space permits, you can even have a TT table or pool. If the budget permits, you can place a CD player with headphones along with audio CDs. A television can also be a value-add here.

Dear Amin,
Even I was facing similar challenges in my previous organization. The HR department was not established, so I acted as a change agent for them. Try to encourage some employee-friendly activities which will help you to make them stick hard to policies and procedures, so management will definitely support you. Act as a bridge to management for employees. I am sure things will change, and you will also be one of the respected persons in your organization. After all, we HR people are ambassadors of our organization to employees. Make them believe that you are the face of management to them.
Keep in touch; I will definitely help you out on
.

(Fact Checked)-The suggestion to transform an underutilized library into an activity room with games like puzzles and chess is a creative way to engage employees and promote a positive work environment. (1 Acknowledge point)
