Your question is too short. HR means Human Resource. When you join any organisation you become a resource for them. But you seem to ask something different. Do you mean to say HR Officer? If yes then you must know Personnel Management, Labour Welfare, Industrial Relations, Social Security, Labour Laws. If you had worked in HR department during your studies perhaps you may be aware of these topics. Else, you will have to know these topics. Alternatively, if it is your family business, you can be accomodated as HR Director even without B Com.
HR is a specialized job. It is an important verticle in any organisation. There are examples that HR person has risen to the post of Managing Director. All what is required is not degree, but knowledge and skill.

With B Com as a qualification, you can become an accounts guy. To become an HR executive, you need some basic qualification. PG in HRM or MBA or BBA . A specialisation in HR will give you inside into utilising Human Resources effectively. Three things are basically required for an organisaiton - Men Money and Material.

Best wishes

Hi,
It would be good for you to know which roles in HRM can be open for you. We have several young persons who have a degree in commerce and are working as assistants in the recruitment departments or they are working for recruitment agencies. Pursuing a master's degree such as MBA with specialization in HRM may help. You can also consider PG diploma programs which typically span one year. There may also be specific certificate courses which can take even shorter than one year to complete.

For example, ours is a Massive Open Online Course supported by the Ministry of Education, and it is free (except some examination fee if you want a certificate). The course content is meant for entry-level HR professionals, and in addition to the video content, it also offers additional readings and exercises, and supporting material.

You can visit this page for details on the course:
