Dear Priyanka,

In the last 2-3 days there were several queries on this subject. I have given reply to the query on Employee Engagement. Click the following link to refer it:

I am yet to come across with HR or Training professional who has measured the effectiveness of engagement activities. If measurement was done it was done with assumptions and ROI is never measured.

If some games are conducted to to reduce the stress then no training professional has measured the increase in productivity because of the stress reduction. Cost or revenue saving because of the stress reduction is not known.

Essence of EE does not lie in the workplace games but in mental affiliation to the company. However, HR professionals have penchant for going with the flow rather than questioning efficacy. Hence the fad!

Thanks,

To maximum extent the "Team work" part also. A break from the routine and Productivity of a rejuvenated employee will be high.
A chance to the Management to understand the behavioral part of the employee & work out development / corrective actions
