One of our employee asking for a job continuation certificate, which is needed for his next job. What should I do ?

Dear Sanat Acharya,

It appears that the employee is still working with your company. In that case, there is no need to issue a separate "Service Continuation Certificate" as such. While issuing the "Service-cum-Employment Certificate", add one more line on "Break in Employment, if any". Write the reply as "Nil".

Hi,

That employee is asking for Bonafide certificate. Please issue a Bonafide certificate confirming his employment with you.

How you come to know that he needs the same for his next job ? If he is a key performer before issuing the letter discuss with him the reasons for his look for other job.
