Today i got mail from my HR and mail subject was "Insight Please.." and in mail was written.. "want know about you and how you are felling to work with us."
during discussion .. i was asked about mine previous company name, my birth place and about my goal..
and i was told if you are ready to involve in some account level event work (Fun activities)
and also i was told if your manager will give you feadback every monnt.
Please guide me what is the meaning of this type of meeting.

In many companies and specially in MNCs there is a culture of monthly appraisal. Also they follow fun activities where in every employee participates in one or the other committee...This is done to give employee a change from their hectic work routine and also a peace of mind(in simple terms).
Your HR had asked you about your opinion working with them was to know are you really comfortable and adjusted with the working environment and this is done so that no employee leaves the company and corrective action / change can be done keeping in view the employee's feedback...
So this type of meeting is usually done to make a new employee feel at ease and to get the feedback about their working environment.
