We cannot avoid problems in life - be it personal or official. As people at the helm of affairs, we are forced to face problems and most of them do appear to us unnecessary.
We turn our wrath and displeasure at people who caused it instead of looking for a solution to the problems. People time and again become desperate and feel dejected for not getting solutions to the problems, Whereas, people who do have the dexterity to find out solutions for problems early remain successful in their career and in life in general.

Dear Ganesh Ramachandran I've gone through your writing, it is good and I am not contributing to the discussion rather have some queries.
1) You wrote about Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) which as far as I know empirical research show that NLP has failed to produce reliable results for its core tenets. Moreover, since its beginnings in the 1970s, NLP has been taught in a variety of formats. In your writing you didn't mention which format need to be followed.
2) You mentioned the terms emotions, ego and self centeredness but doesn't there any involvement of perception in "Problem Solving"?
3) You wrote - "We must change the devil advocate every time", how?
4) In your writing you specified "A neutral person", what is the definition of this "Neutral Person"? Is there any relation between "neutral person" and "lower cadre"?
As my knowledge is very limited may be all the above queries are very cheap. But I hope you don't get bother.

I value your questions very much. They are genuine questions and ,in fact, need elaborate answers!
1. Just like any art, teaching of NLP has turned to become much commercialized with the result people developed a craze to learn it with no mind to practice it. Any hyped new knowledge would lose its charm and so is NLP. Any technique that is connected with mind, attitude and habit can hardly produce tangible results that too with a clear time frame. NLP deals with subconscious mind and its programming. Even Transactional Analysis (TA) devised by Dr,Eric Burne, as per some people, has become outdated,which is not.
Whereas, I have been using NLP techniques in all my interactions (communication), especially in my counselling sessions. Those who are in a job involving public interaction / sales / marketing and customer care can and should learn NLP is my humble suggestion.
Logical perception is disturbed by emotions, ego and selfcentredness with the result people fail to seek logical solutions and end up with hasty wrong solutions instead. Detachment and non involvement (that is looking at the problem as a third person) will certainly throw more light to it.
Devil advocacy is nothing but putting forth counter arguments to any issue with which we can find solutions. When we have one single person for all the discussions, we will not have different counter arguments as the devil advocate would unwittingly develop a monotony and may fail to render justice to his job. Normally those who are good at any particular subject with logical sequencing and human psychology are nominated for devil advocacy.
Persons with equal subject as well as work knowledge and who occupy equal positions try to exercise one-up-man ship and tend to dominate the other and they cannot remain neutral to the issue to seek the root of the problem. Whereas a silent observer without a sense of any official strata can observe generally what is not prevalent overtly to the normal minds.
And..your knowledge is not limited and inferior to that of any one. You shot at me with relevant questions, which I like very much.
