Yes, this is a very good time to get into the recruiting/staffing firm, many candidates are looking for new jobs or seeking to move on due the current economic slow down, being made redundancy, their business cutting costs etc.
If you are ready to work really hard, stay extremely focused, build real relationships and most of all sell - yes, it's a good time to start. Good Luck to your friend.

Hi,
It’s nice to get the info related to opening a new recruitment firm.
I am also planning to have my own business for recruitment I have around 4+yrs of ex. HR but still not confident about weather this option will be proper for me, as I have lot of responsibilities on me....
So I request you people having experience pls do guide me...How do I move living existing job directly to my own business do I will get the money out of it?
I find risk in this.
So while working do U think I will able to start it side by side?
Pls give your valuable comments on it.
Thanks & Regards,
Harshada
