Dear All HR Professionals,
As one of our contractor had submitting their Pf Challan along with ECR & Payment confirmation. if we go through & check it its found that something has fishy in supporting documents.
in ECR files having the names of other establishment as well. if we just take a list of our establishment employees from ECR and check with the salary sheet then its not match the salary pf amt.
So My Question in this regard is
One can upload it on site but not approved and same will be providing us (ManipulationPleP Purpose)?
Please enlighten on the concern

Such manipulations are there as contractors save huge money in the process. So it is necessary to verify the claim of the contractor, pick a sample of not less than 10% of the labour and find out the PF contribution status online using their UAN. Take strict action against the contractor for violation including recovery from the bill. Make this a regular practice before each bill of the contractor is passed. Also, make it mandatory that the contractor has to have his establishment verified by the PF Inspector periodically.
Looking at all these issues, you may consider depositing PF directly in the name of the contractor.
