Hi i recently got offer with wipro. they have taken all my documnets. after that they told your previous company was not found its a black listed company so offer is cancelled. if previous company closed or not paying taxes well that is not my fault. so i said ok.. and discussion over. but from then onwards i am not getting other opportunities and other calls. all rounds of interviews clearing but final confirmation they are putting on hold.
My question is did wipro black listed me in NSR and shared details with other companies? is there any possibility to do this kind of activity??if wipro did so entire my future will collapse. i have to die and i have no other option because i dont know any other work than job.
please please please let me know about this and please let me know how to check black listed candidates data in NSR or in any of website.

Have Wipro given you back all your documents?
Everyone has the option of not dying. How many jobs did you apply and get interviewed? I know of people who had applied for jobs and did not get offers for over 6 months; they did not think of dying. I had been out of job for 9 months and I used that time to enhance my knowledge and skills.
So, do not lose hope that easily. I am sure others more knowledgeable will answer your other queries.

I submitted all documents to wipro through their online system. i have attended two interviews and those two not confirmed but i completed all rounds of interview in those two interviews. they told your technically cleared all rounds. but we need to get final confirmation
One company shortlisted me for interview and scheduled interview. after two day they called me and told your cv is sent again to screening and they told you profile is not shortlisted. it seems wipro has did something.
please please any one suggest me what to do

Hi Marim Thomas,
Straight response to your query about blacklisting on NSR. There is NO SCOPE for any one or any company to black list any person on NSR. The NSR does not provide for it at all. This is just not possible
Also, I think you are giving a lot of credit to the "interconnectedness" within the IT industry. For Wipro to circulate your name (at a junior level) across the entire industry and then for you to get rejected on that basis is really far fetched. This is totally unrealistic.
All I can say, that your rejection must have been on account of (i) the company finding you not being up to the mark, or (ii) their needs having changed, or (iii) there might be unexplained gaps in your service record.
You need to look within yourself to understand where the problem might lie. Each company gets more applications for employment than they need, therefore they will pick and choose who they feel are the best. This is not a reflection on the competence of an applicant but just that their needs may not match with your qualifications / experience.

Hello Marim Thomas,
I fully support the advice given to you by Raju Bhatnagar. He is very clear in his assessment. Let me ask you once simple question. Why are you alive today if that is what the option left for you? You should have solved the problem in exactly one minute.
Rather than raising your one finger to someone else look at four fingers pointing at you. Do look yourself in mirror and then sit for exactly one minute and think - have you done something good by putting such a mail on internet? You will not get sympathy votes for it. Spend some time with your own people if they are around you and at some far off place, share your mind and heart with them and then ask the same question to yourself rather than putting on net for public sympathy.
With warm wishes.

That was really uncalled for! Marim is probably in a highly emotional state since this affects her life. If you could kindly show more humanity rather than posting such cruel statements 'publicly on the net' it would be appreciated.
I agree with Rajubhatnaga's comment. NSR can collate the information but not blacklist anyone from my knowledge. Please find out the exact reason why you weren't selected and then rectify the issue.

Dear All & Fabcat,
If you read between lines I am more humane than "Cruel" to the Girl. I am a proud father of two grownup girls and understand them very well. They are also working in IT Industry (MNCs). Only the though is rather straight and definitely not cruel.
I still advice the girl the same please.

Thank you so much for replying. I'm happy to know that you're a proud father of two grown-up girls. Then you'd know more than anyone else how a kind word is more encouraging to a girl when they're feeling low.
I appreciate straight talk being a straight talker myself for the most part. However, there's a time and place for everything. Your above comment was so much more palatable that it made me smile.
