But remember only thing is the topic should have compatability with the information resources available within the company where u do ur summer project..

i m also specialing in HR, just completed my summer project. my topic was training need analysis in a pharmaceutical company for different emlpoyees working at diift work levels. it was a good learning. so i 'd suggest u to go for training and developent, recruitment or 360 degree appraisal is also a very good area. all the best for whatever area u choose. it also depends most of the times on the requirement of the organisation u r working for. So better talk to ur project guide in the oganisation abt which area 'd be useful for both u and the organisation.

my project was training need analysis in a renowned pharmaceutical company. i can't share the report with u as i m not allowed to do so. but i'd definitely tell u how i went abt the project. well, the organisation had different employees working at different work levels i.e. around 10 work levels. what i did was segregating the training needs of difft employees of difft departments at difft work levels. this was done through the help of a questionnaire as well as some interviews. with the help of that questionnaire various behavioral training needs of each employee was found out. then the most important part was segregating those needs department wise because every department has specific requirements. so this is how i did the project. u r free to ask whatever u want to in this regard. ll try to help u out. all the best
