How to merge two UAN created for a single employee??

We have a issue on having created two UAN numbers for a single employee. Can anybody have idea about resolving & merging the two numbers.?

We too had many such cases of employees joining another Organisation and a second UAN number got created. But the PF Office has not been able to resolve the issue. We have ultimately asked our ex employees to withdraw their contribution from our Organisation.
