Hi,

I want a salary slip format, but our employee does not have a PF number. Our company is not a private limited. The basic salary of the worker is not more than 3000/-. The salary is based on his work. The worker's net salary is around 8500-9000/- depending on his work. The total salary is incentive-based. Can you suggest what I should do for the salary slip of employees?

Thank you.

Dear Nikhil,

What is the strength of your organization? If it is more than 20, then on a priority basis, you will have to go for the PF Registration formalities.

In regards to the Salary Slip, if you have a breakup of the salary, then you can issue the Salary Slips.

To generate the Salary Slips, I hereby provide the Mail merge method. If you are already familiar with it, please ignore this.

If you are not aware, please save both attachments on the desktop of your PC in one folder (name it anything).

Open the Word document. Go to mailing. From Mailing, go to MAIL RECIPIENTS MAP BY USING AN EXISTING FILE.

EXISTING XLS FILE ON YOUR DESKTOP ONLY SELECT THE PATH, I.E. XLS FILE AND SHEET NAME ALSO.

SAVE THE DOC FILE. REOPEN IT. YOU WILL FIND DISPLAY PRESS YES.

AGAIN, TO GO MERGE, PRESS THE PREVIEW RESULTS SWITCH. YOU WILL FIND DATA VALUE AND ALSO THE DATA FIELD.

AFTER PREVIEWING RESULTS, YOU WILL FIND THE MERGED DATA IN NUMBER. JUST CLICK IT, AND YOU WILL SEE ALL FIELDS IN SERIES.

BEFORE CONCLUDING, I ADD THAT YOU SHOULD PLAY WITH THIS TO LEARN MORE.

For more assistance, please write to me at rrathavale@yahoo.co.in.

Cheers,

Ramakant
