Hi Seniors,
My query is regarding Gross Salary and Net Salary. Well am totally confused on this. According to me Gross salary is the monthly salary of an employee without any statutory deductions(PF, ESI, IT, PT etc) and Gross minus statutory deductions = Net Salary. Whereas CTC is Gross Salary + perks, other benifits given to an employee on annual basis.
Please state whether i am correct or not?
However somebody told me CTC minus PF= Gross and Gross minus ESI= Net.
Please clerify my doubts.
Thanks!

Dear,
There are little bit differences among CTC, Gross and net salary.
(a) Net salary means what we taking home.
(b) Gross salary means take home salary + statutory diductions like (PF,ESI,IT ect.)
(c) CTC means the a+b and other annual benifits which will be given by company.
