You not only need disciplinary policy but also disciplinary rules too. They have to be drafted keeping in view the nature of the operations, history, the size, issues of the organisation etc. There is legal implication too in framing them. So furnish these information and you can get them drafted by professionals.

Dear colleague,
I had prepared this policy for one of my clients on professional charges.
While there are certain aspects of the policy which are common to every organisation, certain others have to be tailored to the organisation -specific needs.
If interested, call me on 9819192018 for further details.

Dear Bhavana,
I too agree with Mr. KK!HR, your establishment needs both the disciplinary policy as well the disciplinary rules.
The policy and rule drafting for an establishment depends on i.e. type of business, its nature of operations, problems and issues remain before the organization as well the personnel administration. The policy and rule to be framed by keeping conformity with the Acts & laws are in force. You should contact the labour office to have a copy of the standing orders for your reference and understanding. You too can do so, if not you can get them drafted by professionals. You can explore it from Mr. Vinayak Nagarkar.

You need to develop a policy specific to your organisation and its requirements. This is not a one size fits all proposition. Cutting and pasting something from another organisatioin can lead to problems, and unintended consequences.
