Hi,
I am a student of full time PGDBM (first year) at Jagan Institute Of Management Studies, a reputed institute of Delhi. I am in delimma whether i should opt HR as a major specialisation? placement scenario is seeming to be pathetic. But i am deeply interested in choosing HR as my career. Is it really worth persuing HR in the present circumstances in the national market?
Kindly suggest.

Hi,
Infact the market has improved for HR nowdays and lot of companies are looking for HR people. If you look back around 2000-2003 the marjet for HR was not that good. moreover lot of Retail companies are entering india and this brings in a lot of HR opportunity, the construction sector and manufacturing sector is also growing. So i guess the HR boom will be there for atleast another 3-4 years. rest is upto you to decide and do a market research. best of luck!!!

Hi Misha, I totally agree with Vinod and Stephenlezz. If you are passionate with something, do it immediately and keep up the pace to acheive it - then only you can become something in life. PRADEEP
