Presently i am working as a Asstt. manager in QA/QC dett.of a PUR/PIR sandwich panel manufacturing company. Our management has given me extra responsibilty to get the certificates of ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 but i dont have much exposure in this field. So i am requesting to all of you help me in this regard.

Getting your company ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 CERTIFIED is not a small task. There are "n" number of a) check's to be performed, b) formats to be designed & created department wise, as it is all about PROCESS & PROCEDURES defining a PERFECT SYSTEM. Every process & procedures must be supported by FLOW CHART. Either you need to hire a ISO CONSULTANT or take support of SAFETY ENGINEERS(EXPERT) having exposure in ISO & OHSAS because, neither Its a one day job nor one week.
Respective consultant must visit your company, audit your procedures & process in place i.e. LIVE SYSTEM BEING PRACTICED/FOLLOWED, NCR will be raised if SPECIFIC CHANGES REQUIRED when correlated with PRODUCTIVITY LEVELS and BUSINESS OBJECTIVES. Finally they will propose you the BEST SYSTEMATIC STRATEGIES.
I suggest you to focus on LEAN SIX SIGMA CERTIFICATIONS. This is much more effective than ISO because LEAN SIX SIGMA is POWERFUL.
