Daer Radhika,
Leaving aside Registration under PF & ESI if applicable your Hotel will also be covered under Punjab Shops & Commercial Establishment Act,1958 & for this you are also to take the registration certificate. You are to apply for registration within 30 days of the start of the business to the Shop Inspector of your area. It is made clear that each & every employee including employer is to be medically examined by the competent medical authority who will in turn issue a certificate in form I under Rule 19 (3) of the Punjab Shops & Commercial Establishment Rules,1958. If you will be employing more than 20 on contract workers then R C under this Act will also have to be taken from the Registering Officer. First strart working on these lines.
All the best to you.
