Our Great Nation and Conscientious Citizens already Bak in the Glory of Zero Discriminationon any count whatsoever. The last Measure to reinforce our Stand of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakkam" (We are the World, We are Each Other) is, to our mind, the Adptiotion of the Convention in 1993 by ur Sovereign which was incorporated in the Sexal Harassment of Woman at Worplace ( Prevention, Prohibitin & Redressal) Act 2013 and the Central Rules gazetted on 9.12.2013,which is aimed/ intended to Eliminate All Forms of Discrimination . Reinforcement of our Fundamental Rights and above all the Universal Human Rights.

Dear Idhyah HR Solutions,

There are two things on account of which the discrimination could take place. First one is while in recruitment and the second one while internal job placement. In either case avoid discrimination on account of:

a) Gender (this includes the third gender also)

b) Age

c) Marital status (there could be a single mother or father. It should not hamper the job candidate's job prospectus)

d) Caste, creed, language, religion or sect

e) Region

f) Education background or education institution

India is a diverse country. No country can be as diverse as India. When you bring diversity purposefully, automatically it avoids discrimination.

Nevertheless, when we look at some company dominance certain caste or language or region is clearly visible. "Birds of the feather flock together" goes the proverb. Defying the proverb is not an easy task but to avoid discrimination, it is important to ensure that the birds of the different feather flock together.

Thanks,

Dinesh Divekar
