My father had a heart attack while at work. The company has admitted him to the hospital but is not providing any financial support. The insurance company limit is only Rs 50,000, and our expenses of Rs 200,000 are pending. Are there any human rights laws applicable that make it the company's liability?

1) First, visit the site below and see whether the type of job your father was doing is a scheduled employment under the Workmen's Compensation Act.

2) If yes, then your father will be paid workmen's compensation. The calculation is also given on the same site.

3) Also, if your father is no longer able to go to the office, use Sickness Benefit under ESIC.

4) There are many more benefits under ESI he can avail. See the site below.
