Dear Pratiksha,
U have a very nice name, but I think you don't know its meaning and you are just opposite to it. You have done 3 yrs. diploma in E & C and till now you have not being expert in your field, then how will you expect that you can be a HR in just 2 yrs without any concerned studies and experience..????????????
I am unable to understand that why do you want to change your profile, and what is the guarantee that you will be stable in HR field also after 2-3 yrs. Please don't make joke of your career, and think twice before changing your profile.
Just have patience, and wait for the best results in your own fields, rather than get boring in the early stage.

Hi Pratiksha,
Its always good to lead your interest and passion rather than so called profession. If you really think that is not your cup of tea. Failing in E&C does not mean you will not get success in HR. You will.
First you need to decide where to you want to go...Recruitment, Generalist, Payroll & Benefits, Training & Development

Hi Pratiksha!
Have you ever heard about a Business school in Bangalore? Their Program in MBA is entirely different. They are recruiting ppl in to management jobs with specialization like HR, Finance, marketing etc., Immediately after MBA admission they will place you in companies like HP, IBM, Accenture, Hero honda, Dell, etc., We work for 5 days and study for 2 days in d weekend. So, after 2 yrs, you will be a MBA degree holder with 2yrs of hand full experience in HR Management.
Best wishes 4 ur great career,

Dear Prathiksha,
work is an expression of who we are. A meaningful and satisfying career meshes with our values, our talents and what is truly important to us,
Try volunteering or taking a short-term, part-time position to see how your potential new career feels. Factor in how your life would change if you chose a particular career.
Given today's job market, this is an excellent time to focus on options for successful changing jobs and careers.
All the Best for your successful career change.

Hello Pratiksha,
I am somewhat agree with Ms.Bhawna that don't take any speedy decision to change your profession. Do a one thing Preksha first you decide what you really want? What is your actual interest? If HR then go for your passion its not the bad thing to opt for your passion, many examples are there who did this but yes only those got success who are really passionate and realize it. If you are confuse then stop... think twice before jump... Because there are time comes in every professional's life where they think that they are getting bored in their current job but its not option to change the whole career, right?
Take one example, currently I am working as a HR in IT company, but to see the web developers or designers just by seeing their work seems interestingly i couldn't become like that for that i do have the knowledge and those skills... and yes if after two years i want to opt for that career then i must have madly passion and strive plus have a courage to start as a FRESHER in that field.
I hope you got my point....
Thats why its very important to choose a career...
Best of luck....:) Take a wise decision its your future which depends on it...
