Dear sir/mam, I am facing some issues related to contract labour. My first issue is security on contract comes under contract labour act or not and the second issue is a canteen, JCB, bus, and staff of third party service also comes under contract labour regulation and abolition act pls help me to come out from this problem.

contract labour means a worker who shall be deemed to be employed in or in connection with the work of an establishment when he is hired in or in connection with such work by or through a contractor, with or without the knowledge of the principal employer and includes inter-State migrant worker but does not include an employee (other than part time employee)
Your security ,cnateen employees, JCB Operators, bus drivers and staff are hired,in connection / requirement of establishment and hence CL(RA) Act is very much applicable.

Primarily all of them are coming under the CLRA Act 1970, as they are working in the premises of PE.

Sir we hired one agency for Mee plant and they have 17 staff employes and all have paid good salary by contractor so they are also come under the scope of contract labour act but my one doubt is they are all staff not worker and they provide service like running the Mee plant
