Hi, I just joined a start up firm as Asst.HR Manager in Kerala.. The firm was started two and a half years back. They have not registered under PF and ESI yet. Could you please tell me whether there is any clause saying that Startup companies are exempted from registering under PF and ESI for initial 3 years? What is the minimum number of employees required for Registration under PF/ESI act?

Already you mentioned as your firm is started 2 and half years back & how will you get the Start up benefit.
You need to register for both ESI (if you have employed 10 and above employees) & EPF (if you have employed 20 and above employees)
