Hi Everyone at this Forum.
Important Information for All ICFAI Students seeking past question papers
No one has any papers for Groups A to F from April 2009. Papers uptil Jan 2009 are available only.
Also for your information the course ware was amended and study material and length of chapters have been reduced since Oct 2008. Question papers before oct 2008 may also not be very relevant to the exam preparation. Every quarter there new questions asked from the Text book. Some of the old questions are repeated and by know the questions from oct 2008 & Jan 2009 papers would have been asked a few times each so its very likely that new questions would be past for the new exams.
The University has stop publishing and giving out question papers with answers since April 2009 so no one can have these.
The best way is to prepare from the Text book. Don't refer to the Study
Guide and don't study from the Workbook. Workbook questions are pretty
simple and mostly based on simple theory where as the questions asked in the
exam are more difficult and asked from any part of the Textbook. The key to
success is to know and write through the text book very well.
Key is time to find time to study on a consistent basis like atleast 2 hours a day and it has to be a routine and a habit to succeed.
I am also pursuing my MBA through distant learning (ICFAI) so its a advise based on the info and experience gained reaching the final stage of the program at the moment.
Wish you best of luck. If anyone has questions and if I am able to help will do so.

Hi Mr. Prasad,
Go to Orkut and search for "ICFAI Distance Learning" community and Join it. You will get more info and lot more members interacting. Since we all are approaching exams so you may not get much answers from people. After exams whatever info you need you will get and any help on any particular group or subjects you can seek.
Best wishes,

Mr. Shah, Please can you provide me with an email Id of yours where I can send you the Past paper for Group A. when did you enroll for the Program and when is your first Exam????
Well right know I am preparing for my own exams. May be towards end of july when my exams are done I can assist you with some info on revising and appearing for the exam.
In the meantime read through the text book provided by the University. The questions are objective type and refer to the Jan 2009 question paper so you will get idea once I sent you the paper.
Please read through the Text Book at least 2 or 3 hours a day depending on how much time you have if you can put in more effort would be good. Are you working if yes try and give atleast 2 hours a day to read through text book.
CD's provided by Univ may be useful as some other students say but if you read the Text Book well then you dont need to make use of the CD. You should also not waste time on Study Guide. Study Guide is a sumarrised version of the Text Book. University asks questiosn from any part of the Text Book so reading it is very important. Its about Introduction to Management & Managerial Effectivenss. Managerial Effectivness is about Business Communication, how to speak, how to write and how to answer or deal with your customers, employees and management.
Wish you best of Luck.
