Dear All,
In a similar case, a candidate resigned from his present company on 2nd Aug....they coxed him to complete the assignment going on (this is an infrastructure projects company) for which he went to korea also during his notice period. He was told he'll be released within 3 days of his return. BUt now its been around 10 days, he has been back and they are treating him very badly. they are threatening him to continue there for next few months else they'll sue him.
Can they sue him?
Do they have any right to retain him if he has already served the notice period of 1 month?
please advice as he has to inform the organisation he has been offered to join his date of joining(they have been considerate enough to extend his joining dates twice. Latest he can join is monday 13th)

4. Now they tells that they will give relieving letter after one month from now. Also they say that they have right to know about the work and company I am going to.
5. they also threatening like they will terminate on some ground of breech of trust if i stay back in company from now. so they told not to come office and collect relieving letter later.
Kindly , let me know what can be done. What rights I have to ask for my relieving letter on time. what are HR policies

I am having bond of 2 years in my offer letter it is mentioned that anytime i can break the bond by paying 50k or 2 months of notice period or salary for the same.I am ready to pay the amount .since i am in client site my manageris not accepting my resignation. They are telling about policy that i am unaware.I am ready to follow my offer letter.But still i they are not accepting my resignation

I have the same problem. I have put on my resignation on 17th July 2016 but I have not received any acceptance from my present company. I have sent them many reminder emails but no response. Instead they are asking me to sign a legal affidavit which says that after leaving my present company i cannot join any other company. And only in this case they will relieve me. They have started harassing me in front of other employees too.
They are not ready to show me company's policies too. They have taken 2 cheques of my salary so that in case i leave organisation without information they will get it cashed. But i am serving my notice period of 30 days.
Please help. I have to join my new company on 17th August.
