Dear Seniors, if employee’s basic salary is 6000 then we can deduct the PF or not? plz help me out.

Is providing PF is mandatory for a company or its optional. Some companies are giving PF only for one year from the date of joining after that not giving.

Currently pf limit 15000 basic and its you can calculated 12% fro it..
but my basic is 17000.
so.pls give me answer to a deduct amount of Basic 15000 or 17000 ..

my salary per month is 10000 so wat should be my salary of 16 days after deducting the PF of 12 % . as i have got 4379/- for 16 days of july month

salary/Working days*Present days=gross salary, but gross salary and basic are different. may be the same formula used for calculation od your PF applicable basic+da.

Jay reply your question Your Actual Basic 17000/- not mandatory for PF Deduction More than 15000/- ( if u and your employer both of mutual agreement you go and deduct 17000 or 15000 ) 15000 or more salary not applicable for pension as per Sep-2014 amendment if u wand any clarification A.Sirajudeen Contact :9940073799
