Dear Aakansha,
I must say this is a classic example for MBA student to case study...
First of all sorry to say but this fellow is wrong fit to any organization. I request you to check ur recruitment system too bcaz to my surprise how come his paranoid behaviour has missed from HR round of Interview.
Bcaz of him there will be bad image of the company in Market, attrition rate will be high, No motivation among workforce so the output will be hampered..
I remember the dialogue from Spiderman movie that great positions comes with great responsibility 🙂...and this fellow is lacking to aware his cultural and positional responsibilities too.
Currently I am also seeing one of the CEO of a very big public limited company always gives loose comments about the subordinates in daily meetings..he is the person who has done SP Jain's executive MBA program with good rank but what is the use of this bookish knowledge when such senior person doesn't know how to give respect to peers and subordinates...
He us a big show off and will take credit of all the good things infront of MD and Chairman but will never support any of the team members for his /her any smallest mistake. He likes to praise himself all the time ..like those kind of prove around him .....but failing to give results to company so I m keeping fingers crossed 🙂...let time decide

Madam Akansha,
Quite some time has elapsed since you posted this thread. (over one and half month) Many views expressed said in the same breath that this Director is a misfit.
Now, it is interesting to know what are the latest happenings in this matter and whether this man still enjoys the blessings of the MD. Also whether you could make any dent to turn the things around.
