Dear Ghous, Plesae let us know about your decision. Regards, Khalid Hasan HR Consultant Abu Dhabi

Hi, i do agree with all HR practitioners have said abt dubai. come on visit before taking it up on employment visa.. if you are a qualified MBA with experience in uae there are opening for 20-25k per month. if you are looking for long term being single now, you can move up.. there are always pros and cons in any city as in dubai too..Hard core HR practices are very rare to find except few multinationals..
[b]dear existing members from dubai/uae why dont we all make a forum and discuss things or keep in touch with each other for our day to day issues and help each other ? i am available in 050-2233419.

Dear Friend,
I was in Middle East for quite some time; and I have traveled to almost all the prime locations. I would suggest you to negotiate your salary to 20k per month, as your rent would be 8-9k per month and traveling and other expenses would reach another 6k. The balance would be your savings.
Again, it depends on your spending style and of course savings. Hence the best would be to go for 20k per month.
I hope you dont mind this question of mine; IT in dubai sounds just as mediocre to me; as IT vertical is a boom in India and I am surprised you are looking for a re-location. Anyways this was just my thought, kindly do a good research about the company/work profile and sundry issues, once its convincing to you then go ahead in picking up the offer.
Good Luck

Its a good offer. but you need to search for sharing accomodation or studio flats. Better search for the same in Sharjah. there are new places developed in dubai which are in dubai but somewhat far away from main citi areas. This are cheap places and one could find good accomodation at very low cost.

Just inquire about the transport. Generally companies provide free transports. but still the bus service is very good in dubai but taxies are dam costly. the traffic in dubai is the worst in the world so you need to be preapred to be in traffic for arround 2 to 3 hrs daily at least

you other cost will be food, vegetarians like me faced lot of problems, but still i was able to find the pure veg resturants also. you should keep aside at least 600-800 Dh aside for food only. Telephone will be another bigger expense whic comes almost arround the food bill. in short keep aside arround 3000-5000 Dh for rent, 600-800 Dh for food and 600-800 Dh for telephone. rest is your savings.

I would suggest you to negotiate with them on the yearly vaccation ticket to india.

Do let me know if you wana more help.
