Hey Is it the precusrser to plan a larger meet or is it an end itself. Such a small gathering wont have much importance in terms of taking HR issues. Regards Waqar

Dear All,
This is an initial meeting to meet each other. I have spoken to the current Drishti organizer and it would be beneficial to join the current citehr forum which is already in existence.
So in my opinion, we should meet today, going forward, the next step would be meet the other citehr colleagues in a much more organised forum wherein we shall have sponsorers and speakers to talk on the current challenges and newer ideas.
Feel free to send in your opinions.

CANCELLED AGAIN
Hi All
Todays meet at Barista is cancelled again as only members present today are gonna be Amit, Sanjana and Me. Its really very disappointing. All the excitement is washed out!
I know corp life is hectic, but its frustrating to see that all the Mumbai CiteHR members except 3 of us can't even take out an hour off to meet their fellow professionals.
It was not so much necessary to have an elaborate aegnda and panel discussions on the very first off-line meet. Object was to have an informal ice-breaking meeting...

hii everyone,
I would just like to give a small sugession. Mr.Nikhil is absolutly right tht we can take out an hour from our busy schedule for a meet but sir, if we have such meet on any weekend then i guess most of the members would surely come for this meet. I can tell this thing from my side because if people like me have to travel for an hour for the meet we totally need to take out 3 hrs,after a hectic schedule of 9 hrs.
I wuld request initatiors to think again for this and re plan a meet on any weekend.

My office is in the middle of nowhere in sakinaka - I stay at Andheri - Still I was all set to come to Shivaji Park. Same goes for Amit and Sanjana

Hi All,
My view is Weekend especially on Sunday would be better option as Saturday is not off for all. Morever plan it, in advance say atleast two weeks ahead, so people can make their schedule accordingly.

but I guess lots of members are not even aware of this meet.
I guess we should not hurry with the offline meet and should decide a date after a or 2 week and post abt it and rather then keeping it completely informal,keep a small agenda,because most of the people think that rather then going for a informal meet, let other go and decide and we will go for the formal meet that would be productive for us.
so if we will be having any proper topic to discuss, may be about our next meet only,members will come forward

GUYS, please accept my suggestions, only if you like them. So, here we go....

Next, Do not decide the date in a HURRY. Take enough time like atleast two or three weeks. Once you get people opinion, maintrain a database with member's contact details and call them and inform about the meets.
GUYS, believe me, organizing an ofline meet is NEVER EASY and it wont be possible without active and enthusiastic volunteers. So, beore going ahead and taking the BIG decision of organizing offline meet...form a committie o volunteers and you guys decide on proceedings like agenda and stuff.
If you can check out a thread called HR CITE MEETING - DELHI/NCR...you can understand how did we organized it. Not asking you to follow the same way...you can atleast get some idea....
Finally, I am sure that you GUYS are GONNA ROCK...provided you people do not loose your ENTHU to make it HAPPEN.
