Is there any possibility of finding members from a particular area? Some kind of search option or something? We are trying to have a meetup in Pune, but somehow we are not able to trace Pune members. Help in this context will be appreciated.

Kamaljit

Hi Kamaljit,

I would be very keen on being a part of such a meet. Though not from the direct fraternity of HR, I am into recruitment consulting and training operating out of Pune. I would like to interact with people from the HR fraternity and share views and ideas. You could email me at wish4jobs@vsnl.net or call at 9823037829.

Hi Suji,

Thanks for your interest. The current event is at Pune. We'd be glad if you can join us. However, you may search the CiteHR forum for the Hyderabad meet. I am sure you'd get more details.

Thanks,
Kamaljit

Dear Team,

Thanks to all of you for making this happen. Here's something from Saturday's meet:

The meet purpose: A casual dinner, simple introduction as the fraternity members were meeting for the first time.

Location: Bamboo House, a decent restaurant centrally located.

Members (in order of arrival):

Shubhada Kale

Rahul Wagh

Kamaljit Kaur

Inderpal Singh

KS Ravi Rao

Rupinder Chandiok

Raghav

Sheetal

Tikam

Shashank

We surely missed the presence of Mr. Raaj Bhatia, who has been supportive all along and ensured to pay us a visit through a cell phone.

The discussions:

The discussions revolved around:

- Having an association to help knowledge sharing in the HR community.
- Making HR fraternity meets more formalized like other professional associations.
- Trying to encourage social responsibility among HR professionals by initiating interactions between professionals from the industry and students pursuing vocational/business education.

Thanks again to the members for your time... looking forward to involvement from more members at the next meet... KEEP THE SPIRITS HIGH FOLKS!!!
