There is no time limit or time bar for withdrawal or transfer. You will continue to be a PF member till you withdraw it. I suggest you only transfer it to your present organization if there is PF scheme. You will continue to get the interest if you do not withdraw it.

Hi Priyanka,
If your company has a PF facility, u can get the transfer form filed from the employees and get the PF transfered to your company account. If your company does not have PF , then ask employees to submit the forms in their respective earlier company.

Dear friend,
I have worked in McDonalds a few years back.
I had applied for the PF about 8 months ago and have got very poor response from both the authorities at AonHewitt, who are intermediaries for McDonalds PF formalities and also from the current management of the branch where I worked.
I have been in pursue to get it done, but it has been 8 months and not yet any attempt from their end. After all this when I emailed the concerned person, he told me that it is still in process.
Please help me with this. Can anyone tell me how I can move forward from this situation.
Thank you,
Maria Asantha
