Dear Mani,
There are 2 option
Option 1 : You can create a copy in the same work book and change the data, also rename the sheet name as respective date.(Right click the mouse button in the sheet name, then click move or copy and click move to end button
Option 2 : After opening the excel file just click save as and save the file with the date. for this make a folder and keep all the excel file in it. (Here you can use the above move/copy button where in the header it will ask for new work book, just tick create a copy and you can save it using file name)

sir,
Thanks sir, for your suggestion.
As per your
Option No: 1) When we use this option our Page SetUp will disturb & it take large space.
Option No: 2) Same Comment.
NOTE: IN SOME ORGANIZATIONS LIKE INCOME TAX DEPT WE CAN FEED THE DATA, AND SAME DATA WE CAN RECOVERY AFTER ONE MONTH ALSO WITH THE HELP OF DATE OPTION WHAT WE HAVE ENTERED DATA.
For Ex: Take the issue of Salary Break Up. We entered data for Jan Month and it will calculate as per given details by us and we saving, But when we entering data of Feb Month Salary details last month details are deleting.
How can we known the difference between Jan & Feb. when we not seen Jan Details.

Dear Mani,
In that organisation they have software which will be linked to MS-Excel and MS-access using macros. so the data can be retrieved when ever it is needed. Here the front end will be excel and database will be Ms-access. or any other progam like VB with SQL database.
You should create individual workbook for every month salary.
If you still want you can use Vlookup to bring the data but anyway you have to create the data for Jan & Feb either in sheet or workbook.
I think you are entering the data everytime when ever it is asked by your official.
You create a salary folder for the year. You also create 12 workbook mentioning the month and apply the formula according to the no. of days for each month.
