Exactly, i would want to know more of this...!! Though we worked all the while 2 months. But asking the mgmt abt salary only resulted in more frustration as the mgmt asked us not to worry too much about money as it is a small concept but focus on work...It has been rumoured that we wont be getting any pay for the next few months too...who knows when?? :(

Hi Arsha,
This is the situation many small orgnizations are facing these days. Particularly with Small KPO'S, BPO's and other IT/ITES organization. I know it is very tough to work without salary but you do not have many option at this point.
Market is very bad, so its dificult to get a job. So my sugestion would be to look for a new job and at the same time continue with the job that you are doing at this moment. Because it is even very dificult to get a job when you are jobless.
So look for an good option and as soon as you get a good option quit the current job.
Hope you get the good break soon. All the best.

Dear PS, Arsha & Ruchi,
Niz topic to discuss. u query, What happens if a company goes bankrupt? yes, all have to leav with out pay and no dues can be claimed! and further u cannot take any legal action against them! shocking rgt?!:icon10: but tatz the fact!
When a firm goes bankrupt, its assets are sold and payed to the borrowers/venture captalists in priority percentages. Any other views......

Thanks for the initation of the case, but isnt there any ways to claim the salary. What about the PF ? Wont they be questioned by the Labour Dept or PF office? How come that they'll leave the employees without pay just like that?
Isnt there any act or law for this?

Dear Arsha,
Try taking your HR in confidence and finding out when can they pay your dues. Taking to the higher authority in a straightforward fashion will also help. It difficult to switch job at this time. Try holding on for some more time.

Hi Mercy,
Kindly do not go and meet the higher ups directly in this current situation.
Certainly they will not have any good replies and as per ur reply they still are getting work done by you. so their motive is to get work without paying out.
So pls do not meet the higher ups but try looking for a opening as of now and put down your papers and get all your experience certificate and relieving letter and move out and all the very best in life.
