Dear TS,
I hope you would like to agree with me that cock & bull stories of unethical fellows should not be believed by the experts just to waste their time, rather those should be kept reserved for the entertainment of the children or insensible persons. If the querist really has some problem, he may better approach some lawyer to deal with his problem legally, if he thinks something illegal is happening with him.

Dear TS
I agree. But just because advice is free here, people are emboldened to ask such queries. Be that as it may. Let us hope experts' guidance will impart good values to such youth.
Very aptly summed up, As you sow so you reap.

Hello PS Dhingra,

I would rather speak for myself than others.....since everyone's experiences & MORE importantly, motives in life are different--BOTH in content as well as scale/level/depth.

I DON'T think I can OR will allow myself to judge those who do Postings with half-baked info OR with some ulterior motives & term them as "unethical fellows". @ the EoD, THEY are the losers, NOT me. For I always try to learn, EVEN while sharing, at least a bit from my participation in even the smallest issue.........whether in CiteHR or anywhere else.

Circumstances bring-out the best OR the worst in people........whether you, me or anyone else agrees with that 'best' or 'worst' or not.

W.r.t the present thread, I DON'T think it's our problem or interest whether one chooses to go to an advocate or anyone else......our PRIMARY focus & motive in CiteHR [as far as I can see & have practiced] is to ensure every Posting/Thread becomes a source of guidance for the future ALSO....REPEAT ALSO..........towards what to do & what NOT to do in such situations & project the possible consequences.

And, as senior members, I have always thought that our Focus should be far beyond the current issue--IF you have noticed, some threads opened/initiated way back in 2011/2012 are still doing the rounds [when the issue wouldn't even exist in THAT form now after so many years]--WHY is for each member to think & figure-out......that too, for me at least, is ALSO a learning.

For better clarity on what I mean, pl see my posting in this thread in reply to Madhu TK, where I elaborated this same aspect.....in a different issue/context.......

""Upon returning I had to abscond and leave due to better offer. ""
Not a good thing to do.
If you abscond after getting training, you will be legally bound to return the cost of training at the very least if you have decided to abscond.
It is such absconding actions which keep lawyers busy and make HR frame stricter and tighter policy to prevent absconding. After all no company would like to spend money on training and see it go waste.
Well if you get a legal notice be ready to pay up.

Unfortunately, this is not a cock and bull story. This is most probably a reality. Such incidents to happen quite often with the best of the companies. We have seen such cases with our clients, of people walking out of the job after training and where the company has spent a lot of money on getting them ready to be able to deliver…
I have always advised my clients that they should take legal action against such a person, even where it does cost the company such some money. I hope in this case too, the company does the same.
People today do not have ethics or moral. They do not care what the company has Dunford for them. They only care for what is their entitlement. Probably a year down the line you will find the same person putting a post about how the company has kicked him out without notice and what can be done against it….

Dear A S Bhat, Thank you for responding to my private message and giving consent post it in the public domain. I am sure you meant "desperate" or "disparate" in your above message.
