It was smart on your part to communicate with your manager through mails , you can show it to the HR while discussing the same (though I dunno how much will it help if the management is biased), besides as Mr. Jhuma Tiwade rightly said, that you being in Saudi Arabia, makes it a little difficult to guide. Kindly discuss the issue with your HR or your Senior Management and try to gain some clarity with regards to your position.
