"when i checked with the Hr, she told me that its not some thing bad, it just says that you did not inform your manager about your leave and so on. But you will get good feedback from us."
It is strange that you were not knowing what impact the word would have on your career. Anyway, good luck to you for your next employment.

Hiral,
In many cases employees, specially freshers are clueless. many organisations - including BPOs do not give away all such information.
Even if they conduct an Induction programme, employees are clueless about many such policies, which they learn with time. There are employees with over 1.5 years of exp who do not evenundersatnd words like 'absconding'... forget the implications of it.

Hi Reddi and Deepu,
I have worked with 6 BPOs and I currently head the HR and Training of a BPO.
Each BPO has its own policies and ways of hiring and firing. They may not necessarily follow such a process.
I know of employees who have been labelled 'absconding' and then called to check whether they would re join . If the employee stated that he would not join, the HR sends a letter stating 'absconding' and terminates employment.

Hi, Either you can convince your new employer or the old. Better speak to your old employer. Probably if they can change the same.

Hi Deepu
They told you got abscond right. Check with the HR Department whether they have sent any Notice of Absence Letter. If it is not send then that is your Manager & HR Department Issues. But in your case you did a mistake that without intimation you have taken Leave. In case if you produced medical certificate they need to answer for you.

Dear Deepu,
I agree with many of the above suggestions. You would have actually, spoke to your manager and let him understand the situation and the intensity. Atleast, when your manager denied leaves, you would have checked with the concerned HR Person (Always, remember, HR can help you out in issues like this).
Legally, you are still an employee of the organization, though, they have given you a releiving letter. Check about this with a legal advocate or any known person, for the further proceedings.
Even in the case, everything is proven wrong and you are found guilty, pay the notice period charges and get the releiving done. After all career is the most important factor more than that of money.
Hope, the above info would help you. However, you can reach me at for any further assistance.

They can not just terminate/separate you without the proper notice and following a enquiry. Regards, Vinod Bidwaik

Hi Avani,
That is only one side of the story, I have seen many employees are not interested at the time of induction after joining the company. They just overwhelmed with the reason that they got the job and did not pay attention to the policies of the organization.
Awareness is two side process where giver and taker both play important role. It can't be spoon feed always and we learn by our own experiences sooner or later.

In matter of fact if you have been following such a policy then that is dangerous.
if some employee makes complaint with Government labor office or files a suit in Labor court then the consequences will appear.
Hon. High court has given many decisions stating this kind of termination as illegal.
Principle of natural justice should be observe to avoid legal consequences.
