It is very unfortunate that the child was killed. My sincere prayers go out to the family, giving them the strength to bear the passing of their daughter. Let us, as parents, take on the responsibility of preventing such accidents by regularly talking to our children, teaching them to be aware of any discrepancies, and taking turns to inspect the bus or van for any signs of poor maintenance or damage. If necessary, we should be prepared to switch from one vehicle to another. Let us each do our part and not place blame on the government or school authorities, as our children are precious to us.

Fortunately, school management, transport in charge, and vehicle inspectors are all behind bars. The RTO has been suspended, and every school is busy replacing or repairing old vehicles. Only in Tamil Nadu can such swift actions be expected, not in other states. Hopefully, other states will learn a lesson from this tragedy and the subsequent actions taken.
