I took VRS from PSU1 in 2002. I joined PSU2 in 2007, disclosing my previous VRS. Based on letters from PSU1, I was issued a charge sheet and dismissed from PSU2 in 2013. I succeeded in the High Court but lost in the appeal. I approached CAT against PSU1 in 2016, and CAT quashed the claim of PSU1 in 2024.

Now, can I ask PSU2 to conduct a fresh inquiry as two of the three charges in the charge sheet have disappeared with the verdict of CAT?

No, there is no case to restart proceedings by HAL as the termination of service has become final with the Supreme Court endorsing it. The CAT order is against the recovery of the VRS money and is not giving a fresh cause of action.
