I am working in a school (Affiliated to R.B.S.E Board) on LDC post. I found from the beginning that the school doesn't provide EPF facility even though the school comprises 80 members. Please guide me. The school was previously government-aided, but since around 2002, it is not government-aided.

The schools are covered under the EPF Act 1952, and your school is liable to cover it with retrospective effect. As soon as this fact comes to the knowledge of the PF Inspector, they will initiate action to ensure the coverage.

It is stated that the school is not government-aided. That would mean employees are paid by the school management. So, how come employees' PF is deposited in the treasury? At the same time, since the EPF Act extends to schools, it is applicable at least to the staff not covered under the Government Scheme (GPF).
