Depending up on the company strength you can create HR Policy manual.
For Instance
- Company Introduction
- Position Category
- Office Rules
- Office Timings
- Probation Period
- National Holiday Calender
- Compensatory off Policy
- Annual & Medical Leave Policy
- Termination Policy
- Appraisal Policy
and etc.I would suggest you can frame the above things only after the discussion with the whole management team.

Hi Rachana,
I am Abhay, I am also working in a small IT company. HR policies are nothing but the documentation of teh procedures the company intend to follow. But while framing HR policies we have to be very careful the content, language & coverage of the HR policies. Coverage is because in some small companies, the oweners do not want to be bound to these policies. So we have to draft the policies carefully.
The policies contents are like leave policy, traveling expenses policy, training policy etc. The policies should be clear & firm. Actually its a huge topic but you can get the details from this site itself.
ALL THE BEST for your search & work
Regards,
Abhay
