There has been a revision in the West Bengal Minimum Rates of Wages for the employment of Construction or Maintenance of Roads or in Building Operations for the period from 1st January '16 to 30th June '16. The updated rates for various categories in Zone A and Zone B are as follows:

Unskilled Rs. 7230.00 Rs. 6634.00
Semi-Skilled Rs. 7954.00 Rs. 7296.00
Skilled Rs. 8750.00 Rs. 8026.00
