Hi Pankaj,

There would be two things that you can do as per my knowledge:

1. Call the HR of his previous company and do the necessary verification.
2. You can ask that employee to produce the salary statement (of the bank where his salary gets credited, i.e., bank statement).

Cordially,
Anil

Hello Dear,

I do not know who you are, but I am ready to help you. The format of the salary slip which you are showing is the original format of a salary slip. However, the question that arises is how many types of allowances are given by a company to you. HRA is given by the company to any employee depending upon the area of working. On average, a company provides conveyance allowance to its employees of Rs 800 and other allowances ranging from 70 to 80 percent of their basic salary.

GOD BYE

For any further help, you can contact me. 😊

I am completely in agreement with Suresh Ramalingan that salary can be verified by:

1. Bank statement of the employee.
2. Calculation of PF, ESI, TDS.

However, some employees overstate their salary. For example, if an employee earns 10,000 INR per month, he/she may show 15,000 INR. This can be verified if the employee is under ESI as the monthly contribution will reveal the gross salary. It can be checked without agency investigation charges on the employee ESI portal. Just fill in the IP number of the employee taken from the salary slip. It will also show if the employee is working, showing contributions or not, but it can't reveal the existence of the employee's company.

Thanks,
Harpreet Singh

What would happen if a company offers cash as salary in the name of the employee and provides a manually created salary slip without PF or deductions? How can this be verified, and will it create problems for the employee in their next company as it's not their fault?

It is essential to ensure that proper documentation and records are kept for all financial transactions. In the case of discrepancies in salary slips and deductions, employees should raise this issue with the company's HR or finance department to rectify any errors and ensure compliance with regulations. Failure to address these discrepancies can lead to complications for the employee when transitioning to a new company.

It is crucial for both the employer and the employee to maintain accurate records and adhere to legal requirements regarding salary payments and deductions to avoid any potential issues in the future.
