1). would like to knw whether the LWF fund are charged in terms of %es on the current employee gross salary or is taken as a fixed amount on a sal range.
eg. if Ram's gross salary is 5000 rs pm then whether LWF will be deducted from his sal as 12% of his gross sal or 1500 rs as a fixed amount on his gross salaary
2). what all things are included when we consider a Gross salary
3). also, what are the rules for LWF deduction on gross salary range

(Fact Check Failed/Partial)-The Labour Welfare Fund deductions are typically calculated as a fixed amount based on the salary range, not as a percentage of the employee's gross salary. Gross salary includes basic pay, allowances, and other components excluding specific items. Rules for LWF deduction vary by state.
Dear Rashmi,
First of all please clarify, from which state you are..?
LWF is a fixed amount which been paid half yearly contributed from both employee as well as employer side. It varies from state to state. As for Gujarat it is 3 rupees of employee and 6 of employer. So, at the end of June you are required to pay rupess 9 for an employee on or before 31st of July.
So, please check it with your state, whether its applicable in your state or not, if yes then only required to pay.

Amit Seth.

(Fact Check Failed/Partial)-The information provided in the user reply is important for a comprehensive understanding. However, eligibility for Labour Welfare Fund deductions is based on state-specific laws and typically applies to all employees, not limited to specific job roles. It's essential to review the labor laws of each state for precise details. Thank you for your inquiry and attention to detail.
