If the company rules provide no leave during probation ( provided no local laws suggest grant of such leave ) , no employee can claim leave . If anyone after remaining absent brings medical certificate , it would not make any company obligatory to consider grant of leave . In this instant case , you may consider it to be authorized leave without pay assuming the genuinity of certificate is not in question .

hi, if your company doesnt have any leave for them, the leave can be granted with Loss of pay. regards Bavani
