Dear Anantha,
PF slips are automatically sent by PF office on finalisation after the company send the returns in Form 6A to PF office every year by April 30th. However, in the interest of organisation, its employees, it is better a follow up is also done with PF office. If it is ready, PF office will send by post. They wil lnot hand it over personally.

Dear Friend,
In Hyderabad we have Fast and furious service, if you submitted the application with all the required documents and along wit the Bank Account proof like cancelled check leaf you can expect your PF amount with in a 15 working days in your bank account.
I agree that PF office is a Govt. and usally they do not tend to work. instead of them if you sumitted the form5, form10,3A and bank account along with the application their life will be easier and the same can be processed at the earliest.
I found the way to get it fast and I proven it.
Lets try the same and expect the result instead of blamming the govt.

Hi Shivani,
EPF Website is not regulary updated.. And how long does it take to credit your PF into your bank account completely depends on how advanced the PF office is (ie Computerisation or still maintaining registers) Also the method of posting cheque to your bank or directly crediting to your account thru Electronic fund transfer also matters the most in terms of their turnaround time.
I would suggest you acquire the Form submission acknowledgment slip from your ex employer and visit the PF office for a follow up

All the claims are not updated on web-site as EPFO is likely to complete its computerization pro-gramme by 31/03.2011. However a few offices are prompt enough to respond immediately on a call to PRO ETC. Till then status of the claim can be watched on website of EPFO.
Legally, the time limit is 30 days for settlement of claims otherwise one can go to consumer court for deficiency in services. But one must be sure that he/she has a proper receipt of filing the claim and also to ensure that the claim has not been received back from the PF office or from the employer.

Dear Anantha,
The PF office now insist that the PF returns Form 3A and 6A are submitted in the E format in addition to hard copies if you have already submitted on.
Kindly check whether with the PRO of the concerned PF office.
Dear Shakshi,
You have mentioned that you have submitted your PF claim but not mentioned to whom you have submitted. If you have submitted the claim to the PF office after obtaining the endorsement of the employer then you need to follow up with them. However, if you have submitted your claim to your employer then you need to follow up with him.
Trust matter is clarified

Hi Guys,
I started this thread with a query and now my query is resolved as i have got the pf amount recently and all i got to learn is not to trust the epf websites as they don't update at all & most of all it took me about 80 days for getting the money. The irony is that the website still shows that they haven't received my claim documents.
all the best for the rest still trying to get their pf .

Dear shivani,
The claim status is updated immediately as and when you receive the amount in your account it takes 30 days to get your amount credited.
if your matter is still not settled .
Write a letter/Mail to PF commissioner of regional office with attaching all the photo-state documents related to the issue and also the date of courier when you had dispatched the form 19 and 10 C . CC the same to Public relation officer of that region.
