Dear Mr Bhaskar,
I echo the views of learned member Shri Natharao. There is no reason for deleting the thread.
Statistics are not an end by themselves. Still they give valid information about the contribution made by a member. The higher the number the greater is the contribution. There are many youngsters who get benefitted and peers like me who look forward for an opportunity to learn.

You have shared your happiness with other members, and there is no rancour or bitterness about this. Indeed all members who have commented, have all had good things to say about your contribution to the forum.
In your post, you mentioned about wounding some members, and now feel some regret. However you wrote what you thought at the time, and if it was pertinent and in context, then so be it.
However, this is a good time, for all of us, me included, to always think about what we are writing, and it's effect on other people. There is a good sporting analogy here - PLAY THE BALL, NOT THE MAN. Always address the issue at hand, not the person raising the issue. Always re-read and correct where necessary BEFORE you hit send.
Respecting our fellow members results in a happy, harmonious, and co-operative group where we all can learn and thrive.
