All those who wish to change their names in the PF, there are 2 simple options that I use :
1) A joint declaration letter, mentioning the wrong details and the correct details and also the employee will be required to sign as well as the employer. (Note: correction to be done as per AAdhaar card)
2) EPFO has recently implemented in the employee PF account an option to change the basic details as per aadhaar card. So therefore your PF a/c needs to be activated.
