EPF Returns submiting before 15th of every month.But the Govt. have right to extand this date upto 20thsome . This have some restriction. Regards DEEP

We are depositing EPF challan alongwith cheque on dated 12th of every month, but we received receiving copy of challan on dated 21st or 22nd. Then who is responsible for delay. Bank or our company. Please clarify.

Dear Friend,
The due date for depositing the EPF amount is on or before 15th of every month but you have five days of grace period.If you are crossed the grace period then you are forced to pay the penalty charges.
In your case better pay before 10th it will get cleared in five working days then you can avoid the penalty charges.
